HSE TECHNICAL COORDINATOR

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory).
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certification.
• IOSH Managing Safely Certification.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Additional Qualifications (Advantageous)
• Risk Assessment / Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Certification.
• Incident Investigation Training.
• Train the Trainer Certification.
• ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Certification.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across project sites and operations.
• Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and review Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures, emergency response plans, and HSE initiatives.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, statistics, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system implementation and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients on HSE-related matters and compliance requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE programs.
