BMS Operator
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) operations or related field.
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC controls, and energy management systems.
- Experience in monitoring and controlling temperatures, humidity, ventilation, and energy usage through BMS software.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues related to building automation systems.
- Familiarity with alarms, fault diagnostics, and system monitoring procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational issues.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and control building automation systems using specialized BMS software.
- Track temperatures, humidity levels, equipment performance, and energy consumption.
- Investigate alarms, system anomalies, and operational faults promptly.
- Troubleshoot basic BMS issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for corrective actions.
- Adjust equipment schedules, temperature setpoints, and pump/fan operations to optimize energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and system records.
- Ensure building systems operate efficiently and in compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance departments regarding system performance and repairs.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for energy savings and operational reliability.
