MRK is seeking an experienced Control System Engineer with specialization in DCS/ESD, BMS, and VMS to design, implement, and commission control systems for industrial projects. The engineer will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in these systems, ensuring integration, compliance, and optimal performance.
Control System Engineer (DCS/ESD SME, BMS SME, VMS SME)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering.
- Extensive experience as a Control System Engineer with expertise in DCS/ESD, BMS, and VMS; ARAMCO or large industrial project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, SCADA systems, PLCs, and control system architectures.
- Proficiency in engineering software for control system design and configuration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, HSE requirements, and international control system standards.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as SME for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Building Management Systems (BMS), and Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Design, configure, and commission control and automation systems in line with project requirements.
- Develop control logic, HMI/SCADA interfaces, and system integration plans.
- Review technical specifications, vendor documentation, and system architecture for compliance.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and site personnel.
- Maintain accurate documentation of control system design, configuration, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, client specifications, and ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.
