BUTCHER

Qualifications:

  • With experience in butchery or meat processing industry
  • Knowledgeable in meat cutting, deboning, and processing techniques
    Skilled in using butchery tools and equipment
  • Familiar with food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Physically fit and able to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality and cleanliness
  • Able to follow instructions and meet production deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional dismantling of animal raw materials (e.g., half pigs and meat parts)
  • Carry out deboning, cutting, portioning, and preparation of meat for processing, packaging, or sale
  • Follow technological instructions in breaking down meat products
  • Degrease and clean meat parts according to standards
  • Operate hand and machine tools such as knives, bone saws, and slicers
  • Prepare meat for mincing, further processing, or packaging
  • Ensure compliance with production targets (quantity and quality)
  • Follow proper temperature control during meat processing
  • Identify and isolate scrap or poor-quality products
  • Handle by-products and waste properly
  • Clean and disinfect tools and maintain sanitation of the work area
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and professional work standards at all times
