TMR FEEDER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in agricultural machinery operation, livestock feeding, or farm operations.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and feed mixing processes.
  • Competent in operating TMR mixers and related farm equipment.
  • Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Must have a Professional Driver’s License.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Total Mixed Ration (TMR) mixer and feeding equipment to prepare and distribute livestock feed.
  • Load raw materials such as roughage, grains, supplements, and concentrates based on specific feed formulations.
  • Ensure proper mixing and consistency of feed to meet nutritional requirements.
  • Deliver mixed rations to feed bunks or troughs multiple times daily.
  • Monitor feed quality, texture, and nutrient consistency, and report any irregularities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of TMR equipment, including checking for worn parts and preventing contamination.
  • Maintain accurate records of feed production and equipment performance.
  • Follow farm safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Operate tractors and other farm machinery as required.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: Starting at €2,833.33 gross per month
  • Working Hours: 39 hours per week
  • Contract: 2 years (renewable)
