DRAFTSMAN

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a relevant field (Design, Mechanical Engineering, or similar).
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Must be proficient in speaking and understanding English.
  • Diploma/Degree in Design or any relevant technical field.
  • Strong technical and functional competencies related to CAD software and mechanical design.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Drawings Preparation: Create precise and comprehensive mechanical drawings for all parts and components using CAD software.
  • Design Preparation: Perform base and detailed design drawing activities, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery of work.
  • Assembly Layout Development: Develop detailed assembly layouts for complete product parts, ensuring all components fit together correctly.
  • Review and Refine Designs: Refine assembly designs based on feedback from production teams to optimize manufacturability and ease of assembly.
  • As-Built Documentation: Prepare accurate as-built drawings for manufactured products, ensuring that final documentation reflects the actual produced components and assemblies.
