QUBE Forestry NZL Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for deployment to New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, overhaul, and rebuild of heavy forestry and industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. 

HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Trades Certificate in Mechanical or Industrial discipline
• Factory-trained experience with Caterpillar, Volvo, or Kalmar machinery preferred
• Proven experience in heavy machinery rebuild and maintenance
• Strong English communication skills
• Technically strong with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused
• Willing and able to provide complete supporting documents

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and major rebuilds of heavy equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair works
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards
• Work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
