FOREMAN SCAFFOLDING

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in scaffolding or the respective discipline.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas construction projects is highly preferred.
  • GCC work experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be a holder of CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling procedures.
  • Good understanding of scaffolding safety requirements and safe working practices.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, scaffolders, and other construction personnel.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working in a demanding construction environment.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily scaffolding activities on construction sites.
  • Plan and organize scaffolding erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling works.
  • Lead and supervise scaffolders and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure scaffolding structures are properly erected, secured, modified, and dismantled according to approved procedures.
  • Inspect scaffolding components and work areas before and during operations.
  • Ensure scaffolds are safe, stable, and suitable for their intended use and load requirements.
  • Interpret and follow scaffolding drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
  • Coordinate scaffolding activities with construction supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for scaffolding operations.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site safety regulations.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate work instructions and safety requirements to scaffolding personnel.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and immediately implement appropriate corrective measures.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure scaffolding activities are completed according to project schedules.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in scaffolding work areas.
  • Report work progress, safety concerns, material requirements, and other site issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable scaffolding standards and project procedures.
  • Perform other duties related to scaffolding supervision as assigned.
