COOK / ASSISTANT CHEF

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
• Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and inventory.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and service to maintain consistency.
• Report any equipment malfunction, shortage, or safety concern to the supervisor.
• Support other kitchen staff and work collaboratively to ensure timely service.
