Reinforced Concrete Pipe Layer

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in RCP pipe laying
• Knowledge in temporary works or shoring
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with laying concrete pipes
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with site equipment, including hand tools
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good ENGLISH communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining RCP pipe systems
• Digging trenches for pipe placement and preparing the work area
• Measuring and configuring pipe routes, gathering materials, and using machinery to position the pipes
• Sealing joints between pipe sections to create a watertight or leak-proof system
• Locating and repairing or replacing old or defective pipes
• Backfilling trenches and compacting the soil after the pipes are installed.
