Civil Engineer

Qualifications:

• Two years’ work experience
• Male, below 30 years old, with valid passport
• College/university degree or diploma, spoken/written English and Tagalog
• Willing to work overseas on a two-year continuous contract, hardworking, self motivated and flexible
• Physically fit with medical and police clearance certificate
• Valid four-wheeler driver’s license and able to drive
• Willing to work outdoors
• Skills required: Knowledge of construction materials & methods, project management & communication skills, understanding of local & international
  building codes

Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction projects and complete tasks in time required.
• Assess project feasibility by analysing site conditions, environmental impact, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws, safety regulations, and government policies.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to unforeseen problems.
• Prepare project cost estimations and bid for government contracts/tenders.
• Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and structural failures.

Salary and Benefits:

• 24month continuous contract in Federated States of Micronesia (Chuuk State).
• After 24months, a 30-day paid holiday will be provided, subject to renewal of 2nd contract.
• Housing (including basic amenities, electricity and WIFI), medical insurance, social security, travel from Philippines
  to job site are provided by the company, local transportation
• Salary is US$1200/monthly with option of 1month extra pay (at end of year) if performance is good according to management.
• Work times are Monday-Saturday 8am to 6pm. Sunday off
