Qualifications:
- N4/N5 Passer or is willing to Learn Japanese Language/Nihongo
- More than three years of experience working on a ship
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, inspect and test the performance of vessels and systems, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on vessel systems and engines
- Conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment
- Prepare plans, estimates, design and construction schedules, and contract specifications, including any special provisions
