Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years’ experience in a Finance Management position ideally with a FMCG background.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the transaction processing systems of the business for purchasing, sales, inventory, AP/AR & GL to ensure compliance w/ company policies, international accounting standards, statutory authorities & external audit requirements.
• The CFO manages the day-to-day financials for the businesses 8 retail outlets and 4 wholesale businesses. In addition the CFO oversees the accounts of 2 sister-company property businesses.
• Manage corporate responsibilities in relation to annual returns, taxation matters & other financial commitments to IRC (PNG Internal Revenue
• Commission) & other relevant Government authorities & ensure the company is compliant with legal requirements
• Preparation and delivery of monthly and year-end accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage executive expatriate payroll. Formulating and compiling the annual budget. Manage year-end external audit process.
• Managing the company’s relations with bankers including foreign exchange requirements.
• Ensure that all direct and indirect reports are trained and understand roles.
• Utilize the Company’s information technology platform (Odoo – cloud based) to its best use, with a constant enthusiasm in seeking innovative and more productive ways of undertaking regular financial tasks.
• General company secretary role for the businesses quarterly board meetings.
