Biomedical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2 years of experience working as a Biomedical Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment design, development, and testing processes.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the healthcare industry (e.g., FDA, ISO).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.
• Adaptability to evolving technologies and a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve medical equipment to enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of medical devices, analyzing data and making recommendations for improvements
• Perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk management strategies for medical equipment
• Provide technical support and training to medical staff on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in biomedical engineering, relevant technologies, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to source components and materials for medical equipment.
• Participate in regulatory compliance activities and assist in obtaining necessary certifications for medical devices.
