ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years work of experience prefarably in oil and gas refining/petrochemical industries
• Experience performing electrical power system studies utilizing ETAP modeling (preferred)
• Familiarity with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting practices for industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with specification, application and maintenance up to 15kV class electrical equipment.
• Should be a strong team player who will interface and work with multiciliary teams.
• Should be familiar with the topics of electrical safety and arc flash hazards mitigations, hazardous area classification, power generation, distribution and protection, motors and motors controls, AC/DC Systems, electrical studies
• Should be familiar in industry standards (NEC, IEC, NFPA, IEEE, NEMA, API, etc.).
• Saudi Aramco experience is advantage or experience in Gulf Countries
• Develop and maintain lifecycle management program and database for critical electrical equipment.
• Manage and maintain the corporate arc flash hazard mitigation program and conduct audits.
• Provide technical expertise and participate in failure investigations to capture the outcome and share with other facilities to avoid recurring electrical equipment failures.
• Develop and Manage centralized service contract for critical assets UPS, ATS, Battery Charger, Excitation, MV cables testing
• Manage the Cogeneration assets performance and lead the technical programs, studies and assessments.
• Computer Literate. Fluent in English, oral and written
• Must possess a valid light vehicle driving license
