Reefer Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma/ Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• 2-3 years experience as a reefer technician, 1-2 years working overseas preferred.
• With comprehensive NC II training certificate
• Adequate knowledge and skill to operate and do preventive maintenance
• Able to perform repairs and installations including electrical and mechanical systems
• With experiences in a similar industry – Shipping/ Logistics
• Able to work with a flexible hand-body or in a prone position
• Excellent color vision • With driving skills and valid license
• Willing to travel
• Good communication skills and can speak English
• Mature, firm decision maker and hardworking with the ability to work under pressure, long hours and on weekends
• Good working character with strong positive attitude
• Establish partnership within and outside the team

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in maintaining technical efficiency of all reefer and refrigeration equipments and facilities
• Perform repairs and installations including electrical and mechanical systems of relevant equipments
• Provides technical support as required by our client and all end-users
• Competent in executing inspection, surveys, assessments, repairs and maintenance based on guidelines and procedures as provided by manufacturer given in each type of task or activity
• Supervise over-all tasks under this scope including repair and maintenance of ship’s air condition system
• Expected to strictly observed safety in all its technical undertakings inside the yard and on site for the safety of every personnel, company tools, instruments, equipment including shops and facilities
• May perform relevant task as require by management in the ship’s docking as one of the workmen to maintain specifically on air condition system.
