RETAIL MANAGER
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales analysis.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and the retail market landscape.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for style.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff. Schedule shifts and manage employee performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, promotions, and updates.
- Ensure that all customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly and helpful shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Train staff on excellent customer service practices and lead by example.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed store targets.
- Analyze sales reports and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize profitability.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain adequate stock levels and negotiate favorable terms.
- Ensure that the store layout and displays are visually appealing and in line with brand standards.
- Implement merchandising strategies to highlight new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal trends.
- Train staff on merchandising techniques to maximize sales potential.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the store.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions promptly.
