ROOM SERVICES MANAGER

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience, a minimum of three years in hotel operations, with a focus on housekeeping and guest services.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong focus on maintaining high cleanliness and service standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff members.
• Capable of managing schedules, inventory, and resources efficiently.
• Quick and effective resolution of guest and operational issues
• Understanding and implementation of safety and hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce cleaning standards and procedures to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas.
• Coordinate with other departments (front desk, maintenance) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for housekeeping needs.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Prepare reports on occupancy rates, room turnover, and housekeeping performance.
• Organize training programs to enhance staff skills in cleaning techniques, guest interactions, and safety protocols.
• Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
