Carpenter-Roofer
Qualifications:
- Filipino male applicants, preferably not more than 43 years old.
- At least three (3) years of overseas work experience.
- Proven experience in residential long-run roofing installation.
- Practical experience in commercial cladding installation, waterproofing, and membrane application.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, cladding systems, waterproofing products, and proper installation techniques.
- Ability to measure, cut, fit, and install roofing and building materials accurately.
- Familiarity with carpentry tools, roofing equipment, and materials used in residential and commercial construction.
- Ability to read and follow construction plans, technical specifications, and work instructions.
- Good understanding of construction site safety procedures, particularly when working at heights.
- Good English communication skills.
- Stable and verifiable employment history.
- Willingness to take and pass an English proficiency test, with a minimum score of IELTS 4.0 or PTE 29.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry and roofing work on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Install residential long-run roofing materials in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform commercial cladding installation, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing cladding materials.
- Apply waterproofing systems and membranes to roofs, walls, and other designated building surfaces.
- Prepare roof surfaces and structures before installing roofing, cladding, or waterproofing materials.
- Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials to ensure accurate fitting and proper installation.
- Install roofing flashings, trims, fixings, and other related components as required.
- Inspect completed roofing and cladding work to identify leaks, gaps, defects, or installation issues.
- Carry out repairs, adjustments, and finishing work to maintain the quality and weather resistance of installed systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely and correctly.
- Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, technical specifications, and instructions from supervisors.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements, including fall protection and other precautions when working at heights.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and according to project schedules.
- Perform other related carpentry, roofing, cladding, and waterproofing duties as assigned.
