Commercial Painter

Qualifications:

• Filipino male applicants, preferably not more than 45 years old.
• At least five (5) years of overseas work experience.
• Proven experience in commercial painting projects, such as offices, retail shops, schools, hospitals, hotels, high-rise apartments, and other commercial or institutional buildings.
• Knowledge of commercial painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper application of paints and coatings.
• Familiarity with painting tools, equipment, materials, and application methods used in commercial construction projects.
• Ability to prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and priming before painting.
• Ability to follow painting specifications, project instructions, and workplace safety procedures.
• Good English communication skills.
• Stable and verifiable employment history.
• Willingness to take and pass an English proficiency test, with a minimum score of IELTS 4.0 or PTE 29.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out painting works on commercial and institutional buildings, including offices, retail establishments, schools, hospitals, hotels, and high-rise apartments.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and holes, and applying appropriate primers.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other building surfaces.
• Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools to achieve the required finish.
• Mix and prepare paints and other coating materials according to project specifications.
• Ensure even paint coverage, consistent color, and a clean, professional finish.
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas from paint spills and splashes.
• Inspect completed painting work and carry out touch-ups or corrections when necessary.
• Follow construction drawings, work instructions, and project quality requirements.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Observe workplace health and safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment when working at heights or in other hazardous areas.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Perform other related commercial painting duties as assigned.
