STEEL ERECTOR

Qualifications

• Male applicants are preferred
• Candidates must be VTC graduate or secondary with technical training and ex-gulf in O&G field.
• With minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Good in communication skills and physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and schedule steel erection activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare worksites for steel erection, including the assembly of rigging equipment, installation of safety barriers, and implementation of safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Perform layout and positioning of steel components using measuring instruments, laser levels, and other tools, and ensure proper alignment and fit-up according to design specifications.
• Rig, lift, and place steel beams, columns, and other structural elements using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment, and secure them in place using bolts, welds, or other fastening methods.
