Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Years of experience in MEP design engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Etap, Dialux, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent Organisational skills.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills.

Job Description

• Design MEPF Systems: Develop detailed plans, layouts, and specifications for MEP systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems, using CAD software and other design tools.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs.
• Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient design principles and sustainable practices to minimize the environmental impact of MEP systems.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for MEP components and systems, and assist in procurement processes.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest advancements in MEP technology and incorporate them into design concepts.
