Telecom & Data Lead

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.

Technical Skills:

• Telecommunications and Data Networking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of telecommunications principles, data networking technologies, network architectures, protocols, services, systems, equipment, devices, infrastructure, and associated technologies such as IP (Internet Protocol), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), VPN (Virtual Private Network), SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network), VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), and more.
• Design and Implementation: Proficiency in designing, planning, implementing, configuring, optimizing, and managing telecommunications and data networking solutions, systems, infrastructure, and services to meet organizational requirements, performance goals, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting telecommunications and data networking issues, problems, outages, performance degradation, security incidents, and other related concerns using specialized tools, equipment, software, and diagnostic methodologies.
• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, protocols, standards, regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies related to telecommunications and data networking to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and security of data, systems, and communications.
