SCAFFOLDING INSPECTOR

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience

Job Description:

  • Must have experience in both oil & gas, building, facities construction & powerplant, he supervise to conduct daily & weekly
  • Scaffolding inspection complete erection scaffold & prepare materials request, inspection materials quality & quantity
  • Controlling scaffolders & workers and coordinate with maintenance management & full fill the target on time as per
  • Client requirements, following the scaffolding tag system & implement it properly & inspecting regular basis & weekly
  • Inspect tools & materials properly also erection & dismantling scaffold as per the standard, make sure to follow all the safety rules & regulation, conduct daily tools box talk familiar with activity
  • Wide knowledge about scaffolding all activity (erection, dismantling, modification) well experience about industrial scaffold & materials, standard and codes, know materials name & size, type, experience with various type of scaffolding erection and dismantling, have competency of inspecting scaffold & materials, good skills for controlling & managing scaffolders

Employer Overview:

Qatar Electricity and Water Company is a public shareholding company founded in 1990 in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law, for the purpose of acquiring and managing power generation and water desalination stations and sell its products, with a paid up capital of One hundred million shares of QR 10 each. Approximately 43% of the shares of the company are owned by the Government of Qatar and the remaining 57% is held by institutions and private individuals.

The Board of Directors of the company is composed of eleven board members under the chairmanship of HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Emiri Diwan and executive management of the company is headed by Mr. Fahad H. Al-Mohannadi, General Manager of the company.

The company is one among the largest joint stock companies in the region, owns and operates power plants and desalination stations, meets consumption needs of the country and sells its products to the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation on the terms and conditions agreed between the parties by Power and Water Purchase Agreements.
