Shutter Door Technician

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years working experience
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or similar fields.

Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs garage door systems.
• Providing service for residential or commercial customers.
• Install or repair a door, lubricate door tracks or wheels, or replace the springs that help doors open and close.
• Working on the repair of electric door openers, safety features, and other components such as weatherproofing and garage security.
• Determining what needs to be done to repair or replace an existing garage door system
• Maintaining inventory of new parts to ensure prompt repair of doors
• Cleaning debris from tracks to ensure smooth operation of doors
• Installing new doors and repairing existing doors that have been damaged
• Repairing broken springs, off-track doors, misaligned doors, and other common problems with garage door systems
• Installing new door openers and repairing existing ones
• Repairing or replacing broken springs
