Aureol Global Connections is currently seeking experienced and technically skilled Pipeline Camera Technicians for deployment to Ireland. The successful candidate will perform pipeline inspection, defect logging, and underground utility assessment using advanced robotic camera and sonar inspection equipment.
PIPELINE CAMERA TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in pipeline inspection operations.
- Proficient in maneuvering:
- Remote-controlled robotic camera crawlers
- Push camera systems
- Sonar inspection equipment
- Deep understanding of:
- Gravity pipeline systems
- Pipe sizes and configurations
- Trenchless technologies
- Mapping nomenclature
- Ability to operate:
- Video recording software
- GIS mapping systems
- Digital reporting platforms for pipe defect logging
- Good English communication skills are essential.
- Must possess a valid driving license.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and conduct field inspections safely and efficiently.
- Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor and underground utility environments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate robotic pipeline camera crawlers, push cameras, and sonar systems to inspect underground pipelines and drainage systems.
- Conduct CCTV inspections and identify structural defects, blockages, leaks, and pipeline damages.
- Record, analyze, and document inspection findings using video recording and digital reporting systems.
- Utilize GIS mapping platforms and inspection software to log pipeline data accurately.
- Interpret pipeline layouts, pipe sizes, and trenchless system information during inspection activities.
- Prepare technical inspection reports and provide recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot inspection equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and confined space safety regulations when performing inspections.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams regarding inspection results and operational requirements.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with company standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
