HEAD OF MEDICAL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in clinical or medical leadership roles
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, MBBS, MBA, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of PNG healthcare systems, regulations, and clinical operations
• Proven experience in medical leadership or senior management roles
• Experience managing multisite clinics is highly desirable
• Strong competencies in strategic leadership, stakeholder management, quality improvement, and operational planning

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall medical leadership and strategic direction for clinical operations
• Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical governance across facilities
• Oversee clinic operations including workforce planning, supply chain, and service delivery
• Develop and implement medical policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with PNG healthcare regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements
• Lead financial planning and operational efficiency in medical services
• Supervise and support multisite clinic operations (if applicable)
