LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in laundry or housekeeping work.
• No minimum educational requirement.
• Prior experience in hotel laundry operations is a plus.
• Ability to operate laundry machines and related equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and cleaning products.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Sorting & Handling: Sort linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry by type, color, and fabric.
• Machine Operation: Operate washers, dryers, and ironing/pressing machines safely and efficiently.
• Chemical Use: Measure and apply detergents and cleaning chemicals correctly according to guidelines.
• Inspection: Check items for stains, damage, or wear, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Organization: Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for proper storage and distribution.
• Maintenance: Keep the laundry room and equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Inventory Monitoring: Track laundry supplies and report low inventory to ensure continuous operation.
