HDPE WELDER

Working International Resourcing Limited is seeking experienced HDPE Welders to join projects in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and installing HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane liners used in environmental, water containment, and construction applications. The role requires expertise in plastic welding techniques and the use of specialized welding equipment to ensure strong, leak-proof seams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in HDPE or geomembrane welding.
  • Experience in HDPE and LLDPE liner welding using extrusion and wedge/fusion techniques.
  • Experience working with geomembranes using specialist plastic welding equipment.
  • Experience operating Leister or Munsch hot wedge fusion welding machines is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high welding quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding of HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane liners using extrusion and wedge/fusion welding methods.
  • Operate and maintain specialized plastic welding equipment.
  • Ensure proper alignment and sealing of geomembrane liners according to project specifications.
  • Inspect welded seams to ensure quality and durability.
  • Follow safety standards and site procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with installation teams to complete projects efficiently.
