GYPSUM/ DRY WALL INSTALLER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experienc
  • With basic communication skills
  • Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, and finishing.
  • Ability to use hand/power tools (trowels, sanders, saws, drills).
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
  • High attention to detail for seamless, high-quality finishes

Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Cut, fit, and fasten gypsum boards to metal or wood stud frameworks, including using lifts for ceiling installations.
  • Finishing (Taping & Mudding): Apply tape and multiple coats of joint compound (mud) over joints, seams, and screw heads.
  • Surface Prep & Smoothing: Sand surfaces after each coat of compound to ensure a smooth finish for painting.
  • Repairs: Repair, patch, and replace damaged plaster or drywall panels.
  • Precision Work: Read blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to determine layout, materials, and safety requirements.
  • Component Installation: Install metal corner beads, trims, and related components.
