King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is seeking a qualified CSSD Technician to join the Central Sterile Supply Department. The CSSD Technician will be responsible for the sterilization, preparation, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and infection control protocols. 

CSSD TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in CSSD or related healthcare setting
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree / Diploma in Central Sterile Supply Distribution
• Knowledge of sterilization processes, infection control, and medical equipment handling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Responsibilities:

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Prepare, pack, and label sterile trays and supplies for surgical procedures
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (autoclaves, sterilizers, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Manage stock and distribution of sterile supplies to various hospital departments
• Identify and report faulty instruments or equipment
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of CSSD work areas
• Follow standard operating procedures and hospital policies
