KITCHEN TEAM LEADER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen operations
• At least a high school graduate
• Male applicants are preferred
• Experience in supervising or leading a kitchen team is an advantage
• Strong communication and coaching skills

Responsibilities:

• Support and coach kitchen and shop team members to help them reach their full potential
• Support established training pathways to ensure all required training is completed on time
• Lead by example and remain hands-on during operations when required
• Assign duties to team members based on productivity levels, skill sets, and current responsibilities
• Coach the team to achieve strong performance through regular feedback, recognition, and praise
• Ensure all Line Checks are completed successfully and that any required improvements are promptly actioned
• Ensure that no Made-to-Sell (MTS) rejects are displayed in the Langars at any time
• Continuously develop the team’s knowledge and understanding of food quality and coffee standards
• Ensure all Barista-prepared drinks are consistently made by trained team members and meet the highest quality standards
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
