Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Cuts, trims, grinds, and prepares meat for sale, managing inventory, maintaining hygiene, and often assisting customers with custom orders and cooking advice, using knives, saws, and grinders to portion carcasses into steaks, roasts, and other retail cuts, while ensuring displays are appealing and safe.
  • Cutting, deboning, trimming, tying, grinding, and portioning meat, poultry, and sometimes fish.
  • Advising customers on cuts, cooking methods, and preparing special orders.
