We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater / Car Body Restoration Technician for overseas employment. The successful candidate will restore damaged vehicle frames and body panels using advanced repair tools and welding techniques. This role is ideal for experienced automotive technicians who specialize in frame straightening, panel alignment, and collision repair.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in automotive body repair or panel beating
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proficient in operating frame pulling machines, laser alignment systems, and welding equipment
- Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures, body panel replacement, and alignment techniques
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of frame distortion and necessary repair procedures
- Utilize hydraulic jacks, laser alignment systems, and specialized frame pulling tools to straighten bent or twisted frames to factory specifications
- Precisely align body panels using jigs and measuring tools to ensure proper fit and consistent panel gaps
- Operate specialized frame pulling machines, laser alignment systems, and other advanced repair tools
- Perform welding to repair damaged frame components
- Conduct body panel replacement and other auto repair procedures following safety standards
- Maintain quality and accuracy in all repairs while documenting procedures
