Pipe Welder
Qualifications:
- High school graduate / TESDA vocational graduate
- Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship
- AWS certification
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder
- Working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards
- Knowledge and experience with welding equipment and processes
- Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret schematics
- Good communication skills
- Physical dexterity
- With valid NC II
Responsibilities:
- Determine required tools, materials, and welding methods
- Assemble, install, and repair pipe components and systems according to specifications
- Inspect materials, equipment, and tools
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and tools
- Prepare working materials (clamping, cutting, or applying chemical solutions to piping)
- Examine completed welds to ensure they are defect-free and functional
- Observe safety regulations
