Lead Design Engineer / Engineering Coordinator

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years’ experience in protection design for 132/220/400 kV substations
• Skilled in relay coordination studies, protection settings & scheme reviews
• Strong understanding of utility standards and project specifications
• Ability to develop technical documentation ensuring system safety & reliability

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate HV/EHV substation design (132–400kV) in compliance with DEWA/TAQA standards
• Oversee primary & secondary engineering and multidisciplinary design coordination
• Review drawings, technical documents, and support tenders
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure design accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
