Marine Instructor – SCTW and VSTEP Simulation
Qualifications:
- Male applicants
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications, such as Coast Guard licensing or instructor credentials.
- Experience with simulation software and marine training methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership during training sessions.
- Proficiency in using technology and software related to marine training and simulation
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Designing and updating instructional materials, syllabi, and lesson plans to meet educational standards and industry needs.
- Assessment: Evaluating students’ progress through tests, practical evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed during training and practical exercises.
- Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the upkeep of marine equipment and facilities used in instruction
- Mentoring: Guiding and advising students on career opportunities in the marine field
- Industry Knowledge: Staying updated on the latest marine technologies, regulations, and practices
- Conduct training for marine personnel on various topics, including navigation, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Utilize VSTEP (Virtual Simulation Training and Evaluation Program) simulations to create realistic training scenarios for students.
- Design and develop training programs that incorporate simulations to enhance learning outcomes.
