EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (KITCHEN TECHNICIAN)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants
  • Diploma / High School / Field Training Certificate in Industrial Electricity or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Completion of a recognized training, courses and seminars related to Food Processing and Industrial Machineries.
  • 2 Years minimum experience in maintenance of Food Production Equipment preferably in Catering Company.
  • Technical knowledge in electronics control system is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform / Leads Equipment Mechanics/electrician in maintaining the electro-mechanical Catering equipment in Food Production and Operation such as Conveyor Belts,
  • Ovens, Dishwashing Machine, Tilting Boiling Pans, and all other equipment related to equipment maintenance.
  • Closely monitor serviceability of the equipment / system to ensure their smooth 24 hours operations and report status to Supervisor.
  • Observe and adhere to personal and industrial safety practices in the workshop and working areas by proper utilization of signs (i.e.; Sorry for Inconvenience / Under Repair) and barriers.
  • Attend technical meeting structure and other meetings that open lines of communication pertaining to work and systems currently enforced and
    follow on topics / agenda being discussed.
  • Respond to high priority job particularly on very critical equipment or system and assist other HF-T sections as and when required.
  • Submission of daily report concerning daily achievement.
  • Perform the diagnosing of faults on all mechanical/electrical system, repair / rectify the trouble.
  • Receive and Collect Work Orders and assist the Supervisor in planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with Supervisor for any action plan to a task requires higher level’s decision
