ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Must have UKVI IELTS with a score of 4.0 per category
  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance TESDA NCII or Trade Test Certificates is a MUST!
  • Must have appropriate Safety & Hazard Training Certificates
  • Competent on examining drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine the method and sequence of operations;
  • Keen on selecting, cutting and laying wires and the connection to sockets, plugs or terminals by crimping, soldering, brazing or bolting;
  • Competent in cutting, bending and installation of electrical conduit;
  • Knowledgeable in the assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and by brazing, riveting or welding;
  • Competent in the installation of electrical plant, machinery and other electrical fixtures and appliances such as fuse boxes, generators, light sockets etc.;
  • Keen on examining & testing of electrical plant or machinery, domestic appliances and other electrical assembly for faults using test equipment and replaces worn parts and faulty wiring.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
  • Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.
