Mechanical Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical diploma, certificate, or associate degree program in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Systems, or a related field is typically required. Coursework in mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, safety practices, and relevant disciplines provides foundational knowledge and expertise.

Technical Skills:

• Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, components, and technologies, including pumps, motors, conveyors, turbines, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Maintenance and Repair: Proficiency in maintenance techniques, troubleshooting methods, repair procedures, and preventive maintenance practices related to mechanical systems and equipment using specialized tools, equipment, instruments, and diagnostic devices.
• Safety Protocols: Knowledge of safety practices, regulations, standards, and compliance requirements related to mechanical operations, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety to ensure the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and management of systems and components.
• Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with a wide range of mechanical tools, equipment, machinery, and technologies commonly used in maintenance, repair, installation, and operation tasks within specific industries and applications.
