Car Assembly Worker

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in installing or operating in popular car models (e.g. Citroen C3, Peugeot 209, Peugeot 209 electric car)
• English speaking – B2 level and at least high school graduate
• At least 1 year of work experience in manufacturing (Car/Automotive industry, Machine Operator)
• Physically fit and clean criminal record
• With a minimum height of 162 cm.
• With relevant training/certifications

Job Description

• Installation of all nonelectrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
• Bolts, screws, clips, or otherwise fastens together parts to form subassemblies, such as doors, seats, instrument control panels, steering columns, and axle units.
• Seals joints and seams, using caulking gun
• Fastens seats, door paneling, headliners, carpeting, molding, and other trim into position.
• Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools such as: to drills, screw gun.
• Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
• Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
• May be designated according to component assembled or installed as Assembler, Engine; Assembler, Seat; or stage of assembly as Assembler, Body; Assembler, Chassis; Assembler, Final; Assembler, Trim.
