LMD SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 5 year work experience
• Ability to understand and implement written procedures, technical drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble, various types of rotating equipment, including horizontal and vertical motors, generators, brakes, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, blowers, and fans
• General knowledge of AC and DC motors, motors used in the drilling industry, Ex motors, mechanical and magnetic brakes, rotors and armatures, exciters, bearings, sleeves, shafts, seals, transformers, and other equipment.
• Able to recommend appropriate repairs to restore equipment to specification.
• Identifying and correcting technical faults.
• Knowledge of workshop hand tools and machine tools, when, and how, to use them effectively and safely.
• Able to prepare accurate and comprehensive reports, job cards, non-conformance reports, and other relevant operational documentation.
• Competence in critical technical work activities, such as new shaft fabrication, new shaft installation in rotors, rotor re-caging, core re-stacking, shaft and housing repairs, vibration analysis, sleeve bearing fitment, etc.)
• Detail Oriented
• Excellent Hand-Eye coordination
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Competent computer user, and able to effectively use MS Office, ERP, and perform technical research, etc.
• Basic English communication.
• Strong work ethic
• Willing and able to perform critical site work activities when required, with professional confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist supervisor to complete jobs to the required level of quality, within the timeframe allocated
• Planning of work activities so that division targets and deliverables are met, and jobs are completed on track with the schedule
• Perform needed tests and inspections to ensure the quality and standard
• Coordinating with various departments within the company for effective work completion
• Dismantle the equipment making sure of assigned Job numbers and taking photographs before and after dismantling.
• Diagnose the condition of equipment to find faults, damages and modification needed
• Assemble and install equipment as per particular equipment specifications and follow standard techniques.
• Identify required parts needed for repair and order as per the standard procedure
• Use appropriate and correct tools such as pneumatic tools, drills, cutters, heating torches, etc. to perform each activity
