Electronics Security Technician (Supervisor Level)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years work experience
  • Proficient in CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems installation and system integration
  • Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
  • Must have a cabling and security license
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and work unsupervised

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and servicing of systems and equipment including but not limited to: Commercial Security Systems, Access Control Systems (Gallagher, Integriti, Tecom, etc), Audio and IP Video Management Systems, Automated gates and barriers
  • Commissioning and maintaining of Electronic and Mechanical systems.
  • Structured Cabling experience is advantageous
  • General computing / data & comms / networking / IP based knowledge is advantageous
  • Commissioning of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Engineering, Design, and Hands-on: Access Control System, CCTV, and other System Integration
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic security systems as well as perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
