Warning of the “FINAL NOTICE and LIMITED SLOTS for DEPLOYMENT Scam”-POEA Advisory no. 32 Series of 2021

The POEA has received numerous reports from individuals who have been victimized by entities promising fake overseas employment to prospective applicants. Similar to other online recruitment modus, these internet scams use bogus email addresses and social media accounts to send not-existent job offers. WHILE THE INFORMATION OF THE SUPPOSED LICENSED RECRUITMENT AGENCY MAYBE TRUE, the offer jobs are FAKE.

Again, Mag ingat po sa may mga “FINAL NOTICE” at “LIMITED SLOTS FOR DEPLOYMENT” na email or mga post sa internet gaya ng Facebook etc. Ang mamasama ay ginagamit nila ang mga pangalan ng totoong agency at mga officers into pero fake po ang mga email, FB page at mga ads nila pati ang cellphone/phone number contact details. Kadalasan humihingi daw po ng 3K to 5K pesos na bayad at pinadadala sa mga payment facilities like Western Union, RD Pawnshop, Palawan Express or G-Cash para sa document processing daw po.

So the public is hereby warned using this POEA advisory no. 32. Please transact directly to the Agency (office) address as specified in the POEA Licensed Agency List address (Check POEA webpage) to avoid being victimized. Mag ingat po tayo!
