Attar United is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Watchmaker to inspect, diagnose, service, and repair mechanical and quartz watches. The ideal candidate should have recognized training or professional qualifications in watchmaking, a strong understanding of watch movements, and hands-on experience using specialized watchmaking tools and diagnostic equipment.

WATCHMAKER

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification or recognized training in watchmaking.
  • Strong knowledge of watch movements, mechanisms, and technical components.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose watch-related technical issues accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and practical skills in disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, assembly, and movement regulation.
  • Experience using professional watchmaking tools, timing machines, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Relevant professional experience servicing and repairing mechanical and/or quartz watches.
  • Good manual dexterity, patience, and precision when handling delicate components.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and professional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect watches to identify mechanical, electrical, and functional faults.
  • Diagnose watch movement problems and determine the appropriate repair or servicing procedures.
  • Disassemble watch movements and components carefully for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Clean, lubricate, assemble, and regulate watch movements according to professional watchmaking standards.
  • Repair and service mechanical and quartz watches, including replacing defective or worn components.
  • Adjust watch movements to improve accuracy and ensure proper timekeeping performance.
  • Use professional watchmaking tools, timing machines, and diagnostic equipment to test and evaluate watch performance.
  • Inspect completed repairs to verify accuracy, functionality, and overall quality.
  • Handle delicate watch components, luxury timepieces, and precision instruments with exceptional care.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, replacement parts, and servicing procedures.
  • Keep the workbench, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, technical specifications, and quality control procedures.
