WAITER / WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a hotel or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of restaurant and food service procedures.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Customer-oriented, hardworking, reliable, and service-focused.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when taking and serving orders.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
• Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and proper hygiene practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen or service team.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and presented properly.
• Provide attentive and courteous customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Respond to customer questions and requests professionally.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate with supervisors when necessary.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly arranged dining and service areas.
• Set up and clear tables before and after customer service.
• Ensure tables are properly stocked with necessary service items.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Handle tableware, glassware, utensils, and service equipment carefully.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies, service procedures, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude at all times.
• Support other restaurant operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
