TRAINER BARISTA

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of proven working experience as a Barista, with significant experience in training and mentoring barista teams.
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Barista certification is an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of coffee beans, roasting, brewing methods, espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and beverage presentation.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other café equipment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create, implement, and evaluate effective training programs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
• Passion for coffee, continuous learning, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and specialty beverages in accordance with company quality standards.
• Train new and existing baristas on coffee preparation techniques, beverage recipes, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive barista training programs and learning materials.
• Demonstrate proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
• Educate team members on coffee beans, roasting profiles, brewing methods, milk texturing, and beverage presentation.
• Monitor barista performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to improve skills and productivity.
• Conduct regular skills assessments and refresher training sessions to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in developing new beverage recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
• Maintain adequate inventory of coffee beans, ingredients, and café supplies.
• Promote exceptional customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with management to improve café operations and staff development initiatives.
