Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Telehandler Reach Truck Technician with strong hands-on experience servicing and maintaining material-handling equipment, particularly JCB and Manitou telehandlers and reach trucks, for an overseas work opportunity in Australia.
TELEHANDLER REACH TRUCK TECHNICIAN (JCB , MANITOU)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the same or related field.
- At least 1 year of college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
- Extensive hands-on experience with telehandlers, reach trucks, or similar heavy equipment.
- Experience with JCB and/or Manitou equipment is highly relevant.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults.
- Ability to use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose faults in JCB and Manitou telehandlers, reach trucks, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telehandlers and material-handling machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Repair or replace defective components, parts, and assemblies.
- Carry out servicing, adjustments, lubrication, and scheduled maintenance.
- Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and lifting mechanisms.
- Diagnose hydraulic leaks, pressure problems, and hydraulic component failures.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical documentation when performing repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure equipment meets workplace safety and operational requirements.
- Identify potential equipment problems and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators regarding equipment condition and repair requirements.
- Perform other technical and maintenance duties as assigned.
