Team Leader (Operations)

Qualifications:

• High School, Secondary School, Vocational, or College graduate.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a supervisory or Team Leader role, preferably in airline catering, food production, hospitality, or catering operations.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of flight catering operations, food safety, inventory control, and dispatch procedures is highly desirable.
• Flexible and willing to work shifting schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the assigned in-flight catering section to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Lead, monitor, and motivate operational staff to ensure flights are assembled, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Beverage, Tray Setting, Equipment, Dispatch, Transport, and other operational departments.
• Ensure the availability of catering materials, equipment, dry stores, dry ice, and other operational requirements for flight preparation.
• Monitor flight schedules and respond promptly to operational changes, delays, additional flights, and emergency situations.
• Prepare daily operational reports, inventory records, productivity reports, and shift handover documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of operational materials and equipment.
• Conduct staff briefings, assign daily tasks, monitor attendance, and maintain workplace discipline.
• Support employee training, performance monitoring, scheduling, and vacation planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, aviation security procedures, cybersecurity requirements, and operational guidelines.
• Investigate operational incidents, accidents, and service irregularities, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to resolve equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
• Promote continuous improvement, teamwork, productivity, and customer service excellence.
• Perform other operational and supervisory duties assigned by management.
