Noir De Moé is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Technicians to join a prestigious executive salon and spa in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, storing, and maintaining salon and spa tools and equipment to ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and client safety.

STERILIZATION TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• With 2–3 years of relevant professional experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar sanitation, sterilization, healthcare, beauty, salon, or spa environment.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and storage procedures for reusable tools and equipment.
• Experience operating sterilization equipment and following established sterilization procedures.
• Good understanding of infection-control and cross-contamination prevention practices.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, and accuracy.
• Ability to properly handle disinfectants, cleaning chemicals, and sterilization supplies.
• Knowledge of proper storage and handling of sterilized instruments and equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate sterilization and equipment records.
• Reliable, responsible, and capable of following detailed procedures and instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a professional, high-end salon and spa environment.
• Physically capable of standing and performing sterilization and cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Well-groomed, professional, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Willing to follow salon policies, safety procedures, management instructions, and established sterilization protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize reusable salon and spa tools and equipment according to established procedures.
• Properly prepare tools and instruments for sterilization after each use.
• Operate sterilization equipment safely and correctly, following manufacturer instructions and salon protocols.
• Inspect tools and equipment before and after sterilization to ensure they are clean, functional, and ready for use.
• Follow appropriate sterilization cycles, temperatures, exposure times, and handling procedures.
• Properly package, label, and store sterilized instruments to maintain their cleanliness and sterility.
• Maintain organized storage of sterilized tools and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Separate used, contaminated, cleaned, and sterilized equipment appropriately to prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure salon and spa treatment areas have adequate supplies of clean and sterilized tools.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records, equipment logs, and other required documentation.
• Monitor sterilization equipment and report malfunctions, irregularities, or maintenance requirements to management.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of sterilization equipment according to established procedures.
• Handle cleaning agents, disinfectants, and other sanitation products safely and correctly.
• Follow proper infection-control, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ensure workstations, sterilization areas, storage cabinets, and related facilities remain clean and organized.
• Coordinate with nail technicians, hair therapists, massage therapists, and other salon professionals regarding tool sterilization requirements.
• Ensure frequently used salon tools are processed and made available in a timely manner.
• Identify damaged, worn, or unsuitable instruments and report them for replacement or repair.
• Minimize the risk of cross-contamination through proper handling, transportation, cleaning, and storage of salon tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working within the salon and spa environment.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and appropriate workplace conduct.
• Follow salon policies, safety standards, sterilization protocols, and management instructions.
• Perform other sanitation, sterilization, and support duties as assigned by management.
